Installed Bishop of Mariannhill on the 25th of May 1981.

Due to illness he resigned on the 7th of February 2005.

He passed away on the 15th of June 2005.

He was a Priest for 33.9 years and a Bishop for 24.1 years.
His Principal Consecrator was Archbishop George Francis Daniel.
His Co-Consecrators were Bishop Paul Khoarai and Cardinal Wilfrid Napier O.F.M.
